This test print is intended to simulate the buffer tube threads on all of the Hoffman Tactical 3D printed lowers. It should be printed in the correct orientation with the round top marked "Top" facing up and the same layer height, infill, and print settings as a complete lower. Adjust your XY Size Compensation until the buffer tube threads in with slight resistance. It should be easy to start, but still have resistance while threading in. Tighter is better until it won't start.

You may still have to print a couple complete lowers to get perfect fit, as a small test print can only get you so far. But it should help you dial in your settings, if you choose to use it.
