-------------CHEBUREK------------ -Experimental .22 pistol-carbine hybrid- Cheburek is still in mid-developement, but in this stage it already functions, and does so safely. For now there are several issues: - Unknown spring parameters for ideal cycling. - Imperfect surfaces that need to be sanded/filed down to reduce friction. - Lack of accessory mounting points. - Lack of foregrip (mounting points already there). If these do not scare you, let's proceed. Here's the list of hardware needed for this build: - Various springs (consult About springs.png) - 3mm screws of various lenghts up to 40mm and corresponding nuts - 4mm screw 40-50mm in lenght - .22 barrel liner, 8x6mm hydraulic tube or 16mm OD .22 airgun barrel - 2mm drill bit - JB Weld or any other epoxy glue - One cent euro coin or any coin with similar dimensions Recommended tools: - Dremel or equivalent knockoff - Drill - Files or sandpaper - (optional) 5.7mm reamer (these can be found on Aliexpress) or equivalent imperial sized reamer/bit. Now I'm going to clarify some things that might be confusing, but there won't be a step by step explanation how to build this thing, as it is not final release and assembly is pretty simple. First of all you need to cut euro cent coin so it looks just like the printed template. It can be done with dremel, angle grinder or even file. Drill 3mm hole on top and 2.5mm hole towards the middle. Further proccess varies depending on your choice for the barrel. - If you have 8x6mm hydraulic tube or .22 liner, just glue it into the barrel housing so it sits flush with the breech end. Liner has to be chambered with 5.7mm reamer. - If you have .22 airgun barrel, its breech end has to be shaped just like the one on printed barrel. Little "ears" on its sides do not have to protrude as far as on the printed version. This kind of barrel has to be chambered too. Now when you have your barrel, make sure it sits nice and tight between two mounting pieces. Then coat the mounting end in glue, squish it into the mount and affix whole thing to the frame with four screws and corresponding nuts. Wait for the glue to harden completely. Striker uses 2mm drill bit as firing pin. It has to be glued in place, and precise adjustments of pin's position can be made with a 3mm screw from the rear of the striker. Adjust this position while glue is still uncured. Striker spring can be straightened out and supported by 4mm screw that should be attached through the rear of the frame.
