Amigo Grande PSG-style handguard

Print settings as per Amigo Grande guide. FYI this handguard is larger, uses more material, and may not fit on some printers.

Ensure you have enough support material for the charging handle catch if you're using bed-only supports.



The "steel catch" version allows you to insert a steel square-head bolt to prevent the charging handle catch from wearing down from too much HK slap larping. It works great and has held up really well.

You will need:

1 pcs square head, 1/4"x20 set screw, with 1/2" threaded length (mcmastercarr part number 92308A537). You could also machine/grind down a normal bolt head to a size of 1/4" width and 3/16" height.
1 pcs 1/4"x20 nut (nylon locknut recommended)

You should sand/grind the bolt head top at a slight angle to match the charging handle channel when installed in place. This is probably not needed, but it could catch if things are slightly out of tolerance.

Installation should be pretty straightforward. Bolt installs from below and nut tightens to retain it.
